Computer Science
Introduction to Programming in JAVA
This course will introduce students to fundamental principles of programming using JAVA. Students will learn basic JAVA syntax and language features, object-oriented design and problem-solving techniques. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply their knowledge by writing, modifying and debugging simple applications.
AutoCAD
This course is intended to teach the students how to use AutoCAD to produce engineering drawings. The students will be shown how to create a new drawing, edit an existing drawing and also how to plot a drawing to a suitable printer or plotter. Students will learn cylindrical coordinate entry, 3D viewing techniques, and 3D geometry construction. In addition to this, the students will be shown how to draw Isometric drawings and setup drawings environments and customize screen layouts to suit their own preferences.
Animations with Adobe Flash
Adobe Flash Professional CS6 provides a comprehensive authoring environment for creating interactive and media-rich applications. Flash is widely used to create engaging projects integrating video, sound, graphics, and animation. Adobe Flash Professional CS6 Classroom in a Book is part of the official training series for Adobe graphics and publishing software developed with the support of Adobe product experts. The lessons are designed so students learn at their own pace. Students will learn the fundamental concepts and features as well as many advanced features, including tips and techniques for using the latest version of this application.
Adobe Photoshop
This course is designed to follow the Adobe Photoshop Classroom in a book program. Students will follow lessons designed by the experts at Adobe and work at their own pace through guided instruction to learn the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop Programming. Basics of the course include lessons in using the Timeline panel, keyframes, and motion effects to create movie files from video clips and still images within Photoshop, creating and applying paragraph styles to text, painting more realistic effects with erodible brush tips, and creating, positioning, and adding effects to objects in a 3D scene.
Creative Computing I
In this course, students enter the world of computer science by learning how to create animations, computer games, and interactive projects. Using Scratch, a graphical programming language developed at MIT, students learn fundamental programming concepts such as variables, loops, conditional statements, and event handling. As they teach a mischievous cat to dance, explore a maze, or play games, students learn how to use math and computer code to think creatively. The course will show students how to make and import objects, create audio recordings, and use them to develop interactive projects. At the end of the course, students create their own computer game and share it with their instructor and classmates.
Creative Computing II

Google Applications
This Google Apps training will empower students to work with the different Apps included in the Google Apps suite for businesses. This course will teach your team how to effectively set up and use Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs. After taking this Google Apps course students will be able to leverage the different collaboration tools available in Google Apps which are geared towards making your communication process more effective and productive. This course begins with introductory chapters to help students migrate from a traditional email environment to the more collaborative environment offered by Google Apps.
